CureAlz focuses on providing proof-of-concept funding for breakthrough ideas.

For a researcher to obtain funding from the National Institute of Health (NIH), they must demonstrate their theory is valid.

Our 2018-21 research portfolio with distributions totaling $64 mil resulted in an extraordinary $497 mil of follow-on funding by the NIH, a 7.8x return on investment.

Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that slowly destroys memory and thinking skills.

Women are more likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease than men. In fact, two-thirds of those who are afflicted are women, and women develop the disease at twice the rate of men.

Researchers are working to understand why.

CureAlz is dedicated to funding research with the highest probability of preventing, slowing, or reversing Alzheimer’s disease.

Our Board, Trustees, and select donors cover all operating costs so that 100% of general donations go to our Alzheimer’s research program.
